I joined Twitter, just because I wanted to leave a comment on someone elses message. I joined Facebook because I wanted to view some pictures my sister took when we went to the Missouri Botanical Gardens. (It used to be called 'Shaw's Garden' because Henry Shaw, and in my mind it will always be Shaw's Garden, founded it. That's what they do here in St. Louis for some reason, they change the name of things so that when I say Shaw's Garden I'll be sure to cement the knowledge that I am old. Just like if you know that Kiel Auditorium used to be Municipal Auditorium means that you're older than dirt. They rebuilt Kiel, onto the opera house portion of the old building, and renamed it as often as you change your socks. They do it to our streets too, only they don't rename the whole street, they just rename portions of it. Like Brown Road used to be one road. At one time it started out as Brown, and changed to McDonnell Douglas, then Howdershell, then Shackelford. One road, four names. Apparently we hate outsiders to actually know where they are. This whole rambling section is to ensure that you know I am old. I am one of those people who sits in the car and tells you how the road used to be, or how there were never any roads there at all....'This here all used to be farm land', I say.) I am officially done with these new and inventive ways to keep in contact with people. They drive me crazy.
For example, I feel it has taken me quite enough time this morning to write this small blog entry. Even it is useless in the long run, and I can't imagine spending my days entering even more useless information all day long. I do a blog post (usually) every few days, and I think that's quite enough time and energy spent toward such endevours. I don't think that anyone is evil if they choose to spend their time thusly. I surely don't think they'll be condemned to the depths of hell for it. I do just think there are much better ways to spend the precious time the Lord has bestowed upon me.
That's my opinion, but I'm old and twitless.

About a week ago, I notify family & friends that I am taking a break from FaceBook...and canceled MySpace acct. Like you I had these accounts, to view pics etc. But the truth of the matter is I am into "reforming" my self and did not find the need of all these other cyberspace gadgets.
Yes I still read "blogs" that interest me and feeds me. Clutter can show up anywhere...I threw out stuff that just doesn't feed me & or take up my time unecessarily!
That's my way of de-cluttering my cyber-world
I am grateful to be one of your readers.
So, I'm glad you didn't throw out the old lady with the bath water.
If you don't mind me asking, how did you find my blog, and where are you located?
I have one of those tracker thingies, but right after I installed it, I forgot how to use it, and I would rather just ask you than look it up.
That's me for ya.
Just click on my name that appears on my comment...and it will lead you to info about me.
I saw you blog listed on another blog that I read...your blog title caught my eye.
Enjoy your !
Thank you for the reply.
I like your doggie. I like little dogs.
