OK, I know that's the song 'Found A Peanut', however, I didn't find a peanut. I found a poem. Who knows when I wrote it? I find stuff all the time that I wrote at some other point in my life. I just happen to like this one. Hope you do too.
Upon the trek of this very perilous road
The only way you may learn is through humility
You cannot gain His grace when you carry the load
Or by trying through your own prideful ability
Christ carries the load, and you share His yoke
And His yoke is not heavy at all
For those who would try to twist this into a joke
They remain under the curse of the fall
Oh heavenly Father grant wisdom to us
Please open our eyes and our ears
So that we may proclaim that your judgment is just
Living life in your service for years
The only way you may learn is through humility
You cannot gain His grace when you carry the load
Or by trying through your own prideful ability
Christ carries the load, and you share His yoke
And His yoke is not heavy at all
For those who would try to twist this into a joke
They remain under the curse of the fall
Oh heavenly Father grant wisdom to us
Please open our eyes and our ears
So that we may proclaim that your judgment is just
Living life in your service for years
